Child Protective Services are provided through the Oklahoma Department of Human Services to identify, treat, and prevent child abuse and neglect. CPS provides safety for the children and services for the family with any difficulties that could put the safety of their child at risk. Services are provided through community resources and OKDHS. If a child is being abused or neglected, you have legal responsibility to report it and can do so at the hotline number listed above.

The Child Abuse Network (CAN) is Tulsa's Child Advocacy Center. The network coordinates multiple services for children that have been victims of abuse including; medical evaluations, forensic examinations, mental health services, case review, and case management. They use a multi-disciplinary team approach to keep the trauma the child is exposed to at a minimum. CAN serves all children who are involved in reported cases of abuse. The children are brought to CAN by child welfare or by local law enforcement agencies. Caregivers are NOT directly responsible for payment of services provided at the center. If insurance is available, insurance will be billed. However, families are NOT responsible for deductions or unpaid balances. Several resources are available to help cover the cost of services.

Family & Children's Services is the place to turn for help if your child has been hurt by any type of abuse or trauma. We offer hope and recovery for children and their families. FCS offers services ranging from: trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, parent-child psychotherapy infant mental health program, parent-child interaction therapy, child therapy, play therapy, group therapy, family therapy, court and expert witness testimony services, child psychiatry, families in new directions (FIND): Therapeutic reunification, adolescent offender treatment, and mobile psychiatric crisis services (COPES). Services are available regardless of income or insurance coverage, strictly confidential and offered regardless of race, religion, gender or income.
