918 Day Scavenger Hunt Registration Deadline is This Friday

As the City of Tulsa prepares for its sixth annual 918 Day, the 918 Day Scavenger Hunt registration deadline is quickly approaching.

Teams must register to participate by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 15.

This year's theme is "The Story of Tulsa," the event is sponsored by Mother Road Market, Mythic Press, and Visit Tulsa.

This year’s event details are below:

Mon., Sept. 18 – 918 Day Tour of Tulsa
To celebrate 918 Day, Mayor Bynum is embarking on a tour of Tulsa from 9:18 a.m. – 9:18 p.m. on Sept. 18. Each hour, Mayor Bynum will travel to various Tulsa destinations throughout the city while detailing his trip on social media. You can follow the Mayor’s Tour of Tulsa on Facebook @Mayor GT Bynum.

Sat., Sept. 23 – 918 Day Scavenger Hunt – Deadline for Sign-Up is Friday, Sept. 15
Test your knowledge of Tulsa’s history in a free citywide scavenger hunt. Groups of four will team up and receive clues to Tulsa locations. Participants will also receive the “official” 918 Day t-shirt, courtesy of our event sponsors. The winning team will be announced the following week and receive a basket of Tulsa treasures.

Registration is required for the scavenger hunt. You will need a team name and up to four participants to register. The Scavenger Hunt will begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon. Participants must attend the kick-off event at 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 23 at Owen Park, 560 N. Maybelle Ave., Tulsa, OK 74127, to check in and receive their clues.

Sat., Sept. 23 – 918 Day Post Scavenger Hunt Celebration
Scavenger Hunt participants and Tulsans alike can meet at Mother Road Market, 1124 S. Lewis Ave. in Tulsa, following the conclusion of the Scavenger Hunt. Participants can enjoy the additional 918 Day activities at Mother Road Market.

Celebrate 918 Day on Social Media
On Sept. 17, all 918 Day social media graphics will be available at www.cityoftulsa.org/918Day. Images can be used on your social media pages, profile pictures, and header images.
