Spunky Creek Bridge Replacement Project to Begin Jan. 18

Construction of a new bridge on South 177^th East Avenue (Lynn Lane) over Spunky Creek between East 12^th Street and East 13^th Street is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Jan. 18. 

During this project, 177^th East Avenue will be closed to through traffic between East 11^th Street and East 13^th Street. Access will remain open for driveways within the closure. A detour will be set up for traffic to use 11^th Street, South 161^st East Avenue and East 21^st Street to get around the closure.

The City of Tulsa has contracted with Grade Line Construction for this $502,578 project funded by the Improve Our Tulsa sales tax. Completion of the project is scheduled for May 2022.
