Street Rehabilitation Project to Begin in Early September on South 33rd West Avenue, West 41st Street

A street rehabilitation project is scheduled to begin Sept. 1 or during the 10 days after that date on South 33^rd West Avenue between West 51^st Street and West 41^st Street. This project also includes West 41^st Street between South 33^rd West Avenue and South 41^st West Avenue.   

Traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction in the work area. Work for this project will begin on 33^rd West Avenue at West 51^st Street, working north.  

After work on 33^rd West Avenue is complete, the contractor will begin working on West 41^st Street. On-street parking will be added to West 41^st Street, with a reconfiguration of one driving lane in each direction and bike lanes on both sides. 

The City of Tulsa has contracted with Grade Line Construction for this $3,692,305 Improve Our Tulsa project. Completion is scheduled for July 2023.
